one litre wonder ;) Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 (edited) right since many people keep on asking how to do it here it is this is your fresh out of the box headunit wiring loom now the two wires that we are intrested in are these two little fellows this one , the battery feed (yellow)and this one , the feed that is the attached to the ignition , the ignition leed (red)right there are two different ways can be wired , one for people with remote central locking and one for those that need the kkey to get into the car , i have a guid for both ( key entry to follow)note !* Caution to JVC/Blaupunkt owners as a lot of JVC and Blaupunkt units don't come with trailing leads... They'll need a "PC2-04-4" wiring adapter from auto leads. what you want to do is take your battery feed and the ingnition feed and pull the wires apart at there junctions ( the `semi-transparent` thingys for the not so technical minded ) and then swap their bottom halfs so that it now looks like this now go fit your head unit !!!!! just remeber that by cutting the wiring loom may/ could invalidate warrenty*Usuall disclaimer applies , if You **** it up then tough luck!
