Was only last week considering detailing work on my polo as well! Oh well, the world must go on...I've owned it now for 2 years now and besides the cambelt failure (hasn't snapped, but the teeth are worn causing slipping) it's in great condition. Or as a project car. As you probably already know, Polo GTI's are rare in good condition and can fetch over £3,000 easily. Especially for the later models such as this one.More info on cam belt failure.Please not that the cam belt is still intact, however the teeth have worn down. The engine cut out at low speed whilst cornering leaving my house. 2nd gear, max speed of 15 mph.Price£1300 takes it away with wheels in top pic£1600 takes it away with 16x7 Lenso rims with polished lip.
