7upo Posted December 21, 2010 Report Share Posted December 21, 2010 A little while ago my mate drove into the back of me, after contacting his insurance (Liverpool Victoria) they advised me to TAKE PICTURES if the damage and send the pics to them. They rang me back immediatley saying they quoted it was Total Loss damage and that they can give me £3300 for it or I can buy the car for £500 from them (which I did). The next couple of days I had the check,which I banked.THANK YOU LV! You were 100 times better than my previous insurers ( I dont know wether there is a NO name and shame policy but: QUINN DIRECT, E CAR INSURANCE and ENDSLEIGH DIRECT)Also if it was a Total loss surely somebody should have inspected it (it could have been ANY car I took pictures of)and I should have sent my log book off for it to be recorded?Cheers, Tom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
