Kez1990
Sweet quick question how much was the cambelt change?
CPall
Cambelt kit from my local motor factors was something like 40 quid and then me and a mate just did it, so was very cheap compared to what a garage would charge

CPall
Small progress made a start to wheels, two are looking well, but still far from the finished product, been finding it hard to find time to spend on them, but should hopefully go on within the next month or so.How i got them:first grade of sandpaper to remove paintSecond, and a bit of attention to the centres including filler primer for the bad bits.Finished sanding and gave it a quick autosol to see how theyd come up, still miles from finished, but getting there.Had a bit of an issue the other day:Haha thats my heatsheild from my cat, must have got sick of meeting the floor a lot.Gave my brakes a bit of attention too, ill end up redoing them at some point though cos its not the best job. Before:After:Excuse the terrible iPhone pictures and oversized images, Photobucket isnt co-operatingChris

CPall
Cheers!Thinking about tyres to go on the wheels, wanna go 165/50budget is tight so was gunna get nankang ns2, however not sure if i like the way when nankangs stretch a lot the sidewall sort of curves?would like some Bridgestone Potenzas but cant afford the extra money, so probs have to put up with the nankangs, hopefully will look good.got a few bits to do before they can go on, gunna have a go at rolling my rear arches, folding the lips over with a good old rubber mallet also need to get my camber set up correctly, the front wheels are pulled out as far as they will go using the two bolts on the strut, been looking at those camber bolt kits from eibach, seen them on venom but not sure how good theyll be, anyone had any experience with these?Chris

chris c
elongate the holes in your shocker with a file a little bit for extra adjustment and if those are normal steel coilovers it would be wise to put some grease on the threads and rings to help stop them seizing looking good dude
