Come live in scotland for a bit, trust me, we're not supporting England ... (anyone but, as far as i can tell)

As for my house, it's remaining a football and big brother free zone.

With football being the national sport and all... and erm, being the World Cup, is it not surprising people are taking an interest?

Lets just hope they don't disappoint this time, haha.

It's not the game of football I hate so much as the overpaid thugs and wasters who play it.

I'm sure there are many good role models in the world of prefessional football, but we only get to hear about the tossers and big money earners.

And I might as well say it now, if England don't win it 'they' can still talk about '66. I mean it was only 44 years ago (I can just about remember it). Oh and not to forget WWI and WWII.

So if England don't win we're still OK for another 4 years.

...and what's with bringing all the **** songs out of the closet? :angry2:

To be fair they are overpaid...

But at the same time, so are singers - amy winehouse? We hear about her drugs and assaults all the time.

Eminem - pill addict

Ozzy Osbourne - LOL, look at him...doesnt take a genius to work out his past.

I mean, the point is - the bad publicity footballers get dont make them good role models, but neither are singers to be fair.
