Rustym Posted May 7, 2010 Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 Just wondering which type of throttle body my car will have. Its a 2001 1.4 s 75bhp engine. Is it cable or fbw? Also for the gti/sport throttle body conversion onto a 1.4s what type of model and year is it easiest to sorce the correct throttle body and inlet manifold from? MdBrOoN Posted May 7, 2010 Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 Take the airbox off and see if its connected to the pedal by a cable or not, itll be pretty obvious when you have a look.If your after a cable throttle body, you might be better looking on club polo, there are quite a lot of cable throttle bodies off of the AFH's for sale there.If its dbw youd best be looking at a post 99 lupo sport, or gti Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
