How to: Reset your Service Light

This information guide has been written by nfbr.

Some of you may have had your cars serviced or serviced them yourself but still have the Service light illuminated on your dashboard.

For those who don't know how to reset this service light, Here is a quick and easy guide to explain how!

Step 1

With the Ignition off, Press and hold the 'Trip Mileage reset' button.

Step 2

Turn on ignition, whilst still holding the 'Trip Mileage reset' button until '--' appears on the dash.

Step 3

Release the 'Trip Mileage reset' button.

Step 4

Turn off ignition, Turn it back on and check that the little spanner symbol, or 'service' light is gone.

Step 5

Either turn off the Ignition and Lock up the car, or Go for a Drive!
