£600 budget!!

Alpine definitely for a headunit. Their iPod dedicated ones are top notch.

Do you really need a sub and amp? I've found that top of the range components placed properly in the car, with some sound deadening and the right tuning give a brilliant sound.

ALpine 9880r headunit - £150

Hertz DSK 165 front comps - £80

JL audio 10w0 10"Sub - £70

Pioneer monoblock (cant remember the ref number) - £180

Wiring - £50

Sound deadening an box materials - £70

U always need a small sub, not just for MEGA BASS but to give u the low range that ur normal 6.5 comps cant give u.

TBH u could just run front comps so spent like 300 on just the speakers then rest on deadning and sealing the doors.

Have a look around www.caraudiodirect.co.uk

just stay away from from vibe and anything like that!
