People want to see this done and done to a cool standard so thats why everyone is chipping in! B)

for sure! its good and always learn from your mistakes! :P

You should try to use a similar material to what you're working with, so the ideal plastic to use for smoothing bumpers would be plastic from another bumper.

exactly! that way it will be a real like for like match!

hummm

i'll need a front bumper then.

but surely if i cut a bit out off a standard bumper on ither side off the plate recess it won't be right because it is less curved just before the plate recess and i'm guna need like 50 cm+, so total like 25cm+ ither side of the recess.

And one know what type of plastic the front bumper is coz i can get different types of plastic, from uni.

cheers for all the advice i'm be making some rigth cock up's with out you guys.

:P

if your doing a product course at uni you should be able to tell what kind of plastic it is,,,, :P

its most probably poly prop or some form of polyprop due to its flexibility and sorty of waxy feel(thats how you tell what PP is)

custom tweeter build

started off by desiding which angle i wanted it at then, then shaped a form wedge so the tweeter housing sat right, glued it so it would stay in place.
