Well if you just want another Lupo you may as well make sure the its not a simple problem.

Check the spark plugs, coil pack, leads, do an oil change and then put v-power in and give

the car a good thrashing if that does not sort it then its probably time to get rid of it haha.

Did it do it before the oil change? What oil are you using?

erm ye it did it before but not as bad. now its like clouds of smoke.

before it was only a little bit. so i duno. i did use halfords oil!!

but someone used that in their lupo and they didnt have any problems!

its definately burning oil. someones suggested i use thicker oil to reduce

the smoke..

I think you have answered your own question here. Most modern car engines consume very little oil in my limited experience. Blue smoke always used to be a sign of excessive oil consumption. My air cooled VW uses about a half a lt of oil every 1200 miles and shows no blue smoke.

Excessive oil consumption is normally caused by either worn cylinder bores/rings or worn/hardened valve stem oil seals. There can be other causes, so as always with any diagnosis, try not to jump to conclusions.

Good luck….
