Huw Pugh Posted May 8, 2011 Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 Cheers guys Ryan - what badge are we talking about?Time for a full run down on the work done with a few pics.- 2010 Mk8 Polo boot handle cut in to the standard boot- New polo badge as the one fitted was marked slightly- Standard boot handle removed and smoothed- Rear spoiler light smoothed out- New rear window as there were a few marks in the previous one- Rear wiper removed and "glass" blank fitted- Pop-out rear quater windows- Front bumper smoothed- Cupra R splitter - All arch lips folder flat in on themselves- New front arch liners- Stubby electric drivers mirror- Interior dash plastics and door grab handles painted- Engine bay plastics painted- New pollen filter Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Huw Pugh Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 All been a bit quiet with the car for the last couple of months. I wasn't happy with the finish of the boot - the workmanship was spot on, but it was a little too smoothed in for my liking. Lots of people thought I was nuts but it went back to be redone. The results are spot on and it looks a lot nicer now, with a crisper edge to it. If you look back to the previous pictures, hopefully you'll see what I mean.Work has meant that i just haven't had the time to get the car up to scratch for shows so I think we're pretty much done for this year now.
