GELUPO Posted February 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 Got a fiend who works at a garage and they have had cars brought to them that were taken to dealers first and told they've been fixed, when the dash light has just been removed and the cars still broke. thanks guys for all the advice. checked owners handbook and they say nothing about this model having an engine light, even diagram of instrument cluster doesn't show this feature. it's registered jan 2000 1.4E. maybe first models didn't have? the car goes very well and is very light on fuel. last tank 42MPG. maybe if someone has an old 1.4 they can check if their's has a light?
