How to: Fit new door straps

You need a Philips screwdriver, spanner with appropriate socket (I also use a bendy screwdriver attachment, but you can do without with the right size spanner) and the door strap.

Unscrew the screw the 4 screws highlighted. Carefully pull the panel towards you and down. There a two push clips to the right of the panel. You can see them on the next picture.

You can now see the grey foam covering. Carefully peel it back from the left hand side and remove the clip from the speaker (not like the numpty who had replaced it before me).

Unscrew the bolt that holds the door strap to the car (Gives you a bit more room to get to the other bolts).

Remove the rubber seal and unscrew the two bolts on the car door.

Now you can put your hand through and remove the faulty strap.

Note which way it comes out and replace with the new item.

Refitting is the reverse.

Hope this helps, mine had been driving me mad for 3 months (click, click, click).
