Pop out windows

Spent a bit of time hassling the parts guy at my local dealer. Cost from VAG is 190 big ones.

Part numbers should be;

W6X3 847 099 L    Side Window x 1 @ £36.05
W6X3 847 100 L    Side Window x 1 @ £36.05

W6X3 847 105 01 C  Fastener (catch) x1 @ £21.38
W6X3 847 106 01 C  Fastener (catch) x1 @ £21.38

W6X3 847 145 EB 41  Seal for frame x 2 @ £22.31 each

Plus the following screws etc.

WN 102 854 02
WN 902 521 04
WN 905 988 04
WN 905 988 04

Not too sure on the quantities of these, but shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

this is certainly the case where i work, but part numbers won't need any W's or V's in front or behind them. not sure where this myth comes from, seeing as 99% of vw dealers run ETKA and GDMS for parts listings and stock control!

[quote name='nfbr' post='339173' date='Dec 25 2006, 04:09 PM']Info required to fit a Pollen filter housing and pollen filter to a Non GTI / Non-Aircon vehicle.

Posted Image

Part number 5 is a gasket that goes between the filter housing and the blower assembly...
5's part number is 6N0 819 165A

Part number 53 is the nut you will have removed to get the old "mesh" cover assembly off, you should still have this left over, but you will re-use it to attatch the filter housing. If you've lost it...
53's part number is N 90352101

Part number 20 is the cover, as you can see in the pic below...
20's part number is 6N2 815 645

Part number 15b is the frame that holds the pollen filter in position...
15b's part number is 1H0 819 648 A

Part number 15a is the Pollen filter itself...
15a's part number is 1H0 819 644

Part nuber 16 is the actual filter housing...
16's part number is 6N2 819 640 B

5 Gasket - This comes already bonded to the underside of part number 16 (housing).

An image of what the bits all look like before being fitted to the car
Posted Image

And an image once fitted to the car.
Posted Image

Note: If you wish to fit a Charcoal activated filter, according to the ETKA system, you will need a different frame...

Part number for the charcoal activated filter instead of using 15a is 1J0 819 644
and the part number for the slightly different frame is 1J0 819 648
The Charcoal activated filter helps to stop strong smells getting into the cabin and also helps to neutralize any allergens in the air entering the cabin!

However with some of the aftermarket filters, it is possible to use a charcoal activated version of the standard filter, thus meaning you can use the normal frame...

Touran / Mk6 Polo / Mk5 Golf rear wiper assembly
6Q6 955 425 A (blade)
6Q6 955 435 B 01C (cap)
6Q6 955 707 A (arm)

I got a polo rear wiper for my car years ago, but it was a faff anout trying to cut the blade to size.

The polo blade is ok for lupos, however it does overlap slightly, but the arosa has a smaller rear screen so its more of a problem, and to cut it down is a bit of a chew.

So i found that a 2007 Passat Estate has a smaller rear wiper but the same style (looks just the like polo one).

Its the same length as the standard lupo wiper, so it doesn let you see anymore, but it does look much much better and this shorter one saves the hassle of trimming down the blade to fit.

So as mine has been on a few years it was starting to go funny and judder on the window and since i used it a lot i thought i should get a new one, but i couldnt be bothered to cut a new one.

So i found this, ill take a pic if anyone wants one but its just the same as the polo one that seems apopular little addition, but smaller.

Part number: 3C9 955 425

Price: £5.63

So i thought id post it up as it may help some people

Chris

I don't have permission to post in the Part Numbers thread... So, for reference:

6H0 941 699 A - Lower Front Fog Lamp, Left hand side x 1

6H0 941 700 A - Lower Front Fog Lamp, Right hand side x 1

N 017 762 2 - H3 Halogen Light Bulb x 2

6H0 805 903 A B41 - Lower Front Spoiler x 1

1J0 973 722 - 2 Pin Flat Connector Housing x 2

N 104 269 01 - Spring Clamp x 4

N 104 271 01 - Spring Clamp x2

Are required to fit fogs to the front of your Lupo. Costs £139.02 +VAT.

You can use your existing switch, and both front and rear fogs will come on at the same time, when you pull the switch out.. Or you can buy another 2 click switch - Front fogs come on first, then both come on.
