Alan VW
Would that make much of a difference ? - what sort of cost.?
twisty b-road
thing with NOS is when the bottle is empty you're driving a 1.0L till you fill it upA turbo is more permanent and less of a shock to the engineYou have a lot of closed roads racing going on? There must be a fair few places can do this job.Is your wallet ready for a turbo? NOS is cheaper
Alan VW
would there be a bigger kick of 50bhp of nos compared to a turbo - ?
Tigz™
A mate of mine fitted a 75 shot to his 2L Zetec fiesta himself for £225.He gets 10 shots before the bottle needs filling up again.Only thing is, what was a wicked power plant now is fcuked. Smoke bellows out the exhaust. If your gonna do it you will need to upgrade valves and seals just as you would if you fitted a turbo. The thing is, Im not sure if a 1L would be worth spending (a lot of) cash tuneing. How about an engine transplant?
