Max69vk
I originally posted this up as a response to another topic, but is very handy if you’re doing a rear light conversion. On the numbered side of the clip you will be able to 'flip' open 1/2 the connector so you can see all the cables going in, now here’s the tricky bit.......If you look end on at the connecter you will see a small groove at the top & bottom of each of the metal connections, get the smallest jewellers screwdriver you can & push it down inside the grooves, this will (if done carefully) push the tabs in on the connector & you will then be able to remove the wire complete with connection & intact. When refitting the wires makes sure you pull the tabs back out again slightly so they will clip in properly. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />(This is a side on view of the multi connector)1st pic shows where to put the screwdriver in to pop open the cover..... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />This is the connection cover when its open.... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />In this picture you can see the grooves above & below each connection, this is where you push the jewellers screwdriver down to push in the tabs. The 1st connector has already been removed...... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />On this picture the connectors have been removed & you can clearly see the tabs/flaps on them that have been pushed in........ border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />
