nfbr Posted December 6, 2005 Report Share Posted December 6, 2005 (edited) - Start with one dirty wheel- Then prepare yourself with the following itemsNewspaper for when the wheel is face downWheel cleanerTyre cleanerBodywork / Wheel wax2x Jugs of waterWheel cleaning brushOld towelSome cloth or bits of old t-shirtsCan of your favourite drinkNow you will need to jack your car up and remove the wheelStart with the inside of the wheelSpray the wheel with wheel cleaner Then work the wheel cleaner in with a brushWhen you've fully brushed the entire wheel rinse the wheel off and do the same to the outside (face) of the wheelOnce again rinse it all off and dry with a towelNow that the wheel is towel dried, Get your wax out and cover the wheel with a light but not shy coat of wax and work it in with a cloth or bit of old t-shirt in circular motionsNext you will need a new bit of t-shirt, once the wax has dried to a hazy finish to polish the wax offAnd their you have it, One super clean wheelA quick note, If you have split rims, diamond cut, chrome or polished wheels... avoid use of wheel cleaning products, Instead use hot soapy water and a bit of elbow grease Edited January 20, 2010 by nfbr Cleaned by: nfbr.
