Tigz™
Remove the inner cover on the door by pulling out the top part and then lifting the cover upwards (pull the clear rubber bit off the top peg on the cover and put it back in the door).Remove the black foam piece. Then remove the mirror adjuster knob, spring and large washer thingy. Its clipped on tight to the arm so you may need to carefully use a small flat blade screwdriver on the clips behind the knob while pulling. The mirror is held on by a large torx screw so make sure you have some torx type screwdrivers handy. Undo the screw. The cable housing is clipped onto the door where it goes through to the inside of the car. If you pull the mirror gently off the door. Some of the cable will come out of the mirror until it goes tight (theres quite a lot of excess cable inside the mirror) Then from inside the door. Put a flatblade screwdriver through the hole where the cable runs through and push on the plastic housing untill it releases (Or from the outside. If you have small hands you could pull on the rear of the plastic housing)The mirror is now free to be pulled off.Removal of both side should take no more than 20 mins max for the first go. Its very easy.
