I'm trying to repair my indicators and was taking the airbag off but left it balanced without disconnecting. It fell and pulled the connector apart. Doesn't look like it's damaged the airbag but I've no idea what this red wire is. It was just about attached to one of the 2 pins on the connecting ribbon cable but has now fallen off. Any ideas? mk2 Posted July 15, 2018 Report Share Posted July 15, 2018 looks like you've broken the plug to start with. you'll need to replace that section back to the plug on the side of the steering column. no idea where that wire's from tho...
