remember to measure the tracking first and good luck.

preparation is absolute key when doing a track rod.

make sure you get the right version as powered steering and non powered steering are different lengths,  ive got a lovely paperweight on my desk when a bought the wrong one as they are shorter

they are cheap so do both sides, I was really anal when i did mine as i replaced the locking nuts, ran a die up and down the threads got it roughy right then had the tracking done knowing they wont have any problems as i had made sure everything was free and not siezed tight

I use the hammer and dolly bash method to separate them as they're always welded together.

last time I did this I ended up replacing the whole rod as the thread for the checks had corroded away. :(
