aimeecb
i want to change my badges on my lupo so they aren't chrome, how easy are they to get off or am i better off painting them? thank you, aimee
lupo1.0se
The front badges just unclip. To get the rear badges off is to use dental floss. However repainting the lupo or 16v badge on the rear (or the front badges for that matter), I am not sure, the chrome would have to be stripped off (the badges are not metal so paint stripper really isn't a good idea). You can buy different colours vw rear badge on ebay which is probably the best way to go. Example for rear one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-Mk4-Rear-Boot-Badge-115mm-GTI-TDI-R32-Black-Spectraflair-Polo-6n2-Lupo-/122494947596?hash=item1c8544910c:g:yD8AAOSw~FJZFzdp
Mr.Badbrains
Or you could possibly plastidip them while in the car. The rear VW badge is hard to get off without damaging the rubber surrounding part.
