I put a loop gti rollbar on my 6n2.

That begs the question, is the gti ARB stiffer than the biggest diameter polo? The polo is slightly heavier, but not as 'enthusiastic' a car to drive. Most polos are a bit squishy- a bit like my two Sdis....

Q. Is there a polo ARB that would work better than a lupo gti ARB?

Apparrently the right side has corroded

Huh? We're talking about a 20mm ish diameter toughened steel bar. Surface rust perhaps, but nothing to make the car unsafe...?! The springs are more likely to go first. I'd get a second opinion.

Cool ok thanks for that, I know VW tend to go to town on stuff like that.

What exactly did they say... Are you sure it's not the anti-roll bar drop links?

They said the anti roll bar is  corroded around the bush area ?Check in 12 months so it can't be that bad.

cost of replacement and fitting £208.

How much!? I recently fitted a GTI one to the rally car and it cost £20 or £30 I can't remember, didn't take more than half an hour or so to fit. Maybe the part is expensive brand new but they're having your pants down.

depends entirely on how they are doing it.

if they lower the sub frame they will have to do the tracking as well.

bar, bushes and bolts as well as presumed drop links/bushes add up.

sometimes getting it all into place and the bushes where they need to be takes a little bit of time.

£208 inc if done this way is acceptable.
