Do Lupo 3L front subframe and rear axle/beam fit to standard Lupo 1.0 ?

Hi All

I currently have a Lupo project (standard 1.0 shell) on the go and have the opportunity to purchase a 3L front aluminium subframe/hubs/shocks as well as the rear beam/hubs.

Question is can these be bolted straight to a standard shell without modifications? I'm aware the 3L shell is the same as the GTI.

Has anyone had experience of doing this conversion?

Cheers

I should think this would work.

The exhaust on the 3L runs down the back of the block and over the subframe, as there is no gear linkage in the way. The bottom of the subframe is flat, so you may have to get creative with the exhaust.

3Ls don't have hydraulic PAS, so it would worth check for steering rack compatability.

I think the rear beam is basically the same, so I can't see any issues there.
