Welcome; if you look at this link to an e-bay add, have a look at the pictures of the interior and you will see the factory sat nav fitted. These sat nav's do come up on e-bay mainly from Golf 4's but I've also seen Skoda items too. Only if you want the factory look.

Nice. What make and model hifi is that?

Gearbox: drain and refill it with ep90 (thicker) to get rid of the noise until the thing can be rebuilt. Could be clutch release bearing. Get a second opinion on the box noise, as if it goes it can be very expensive....
