I'd like to get to know the engine better and Id like to put a fresh clutch in on my own but Id think a garage is the better option increase I leave a spanner in my engine lol Anyone tried this? Sausage Posted October 21, 2016 Report Share Posted October 21, 2016 No, drive it until it slips or you cant get it in gear anymore then fix it then. You will need more than a new standard clutch to cope with any heavy tdi tuning you have in mind anyway I would think, so that needs looking into what options there are (expensive if i remember right), maybe the better option is a different VAG flywheel and clutch to give more clutch options and also a bigger clutch. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
