Hi

I am Nail, I live in Saint Petersburg, Russia

Here's my thread about my Lupo

Bought it on November 2k15 after selling my Mk2 Golf.

No front bumper, cracked lights, bad interior, bad music, rusted hood and so on...But already installed coilovers.

Firstly I've attached all the front I have found in our city, resprayed it and swapped wheels to banded steelies.

Also installed Mk4 Vag Sport front seats, and all the rears were sent to rubbish.

After the winter I have bought forged R14 wheels, Yokohama Advan A048 semislicks, full swap to 256mm and 232mm brakes, some spacers and other stuff

Some of the parts were rebuilded and finally installed

Decided to post something

My previous car was Mk2 Golf, nice car, but slow, rusty and all the handling was really shitty. After I've bought the Loop, I've decided to built it with ability to participate some track days, sprints and everything helding nearby.

Of course I had the coils at the moment, but brakes were really crap. Swapped 256s and rears.

Tried myself on local sprints (early spring, april maybe)

By the way all the rear seats were deleted for carrying my bike.

Now thinking about paintwork, cheap paintwork using Montana Black sprays.

And couple of days installed awesome 15s with 195 50 Continental. I know looks damn shitty.

Cleaned my interior a bit...

Made a fire extinguisher's mount from spare tire's rubber mount.

and small fire extinguisher for various situations in front:

I believe when I can afford forged rims - new look will be more interesting.

By now I can find white G60 Alloys (Golf Mk2 Sebrings), but their weight is 9 kilos, that's real problem. Really want forged ones....

Hey, I've got some fresh stuff!

Firstly - 50mm exhaust:

Old one:

And there are the old and new one:

Secondly - taking part in sprint races:

Managed to fail in my third attempt, have real slooooww time in overall. Because of cold Continentals Premium Contacts. Hate them a lot. Need some forged rims and Ventus RS3 or similar tyres.

Looking for ITBs on my Looop. The overall purpose - to achieve a bit horsepower and torque and make my engine bay not stock.

Decided to use Suzuki's ones or Kawasaki ones.

9dbed1es-480.jpg

Diameter of intake is 36-38mm which is nice for 1.4 litres.

Not too big like Toyota Levin's silvertops or blacktops (40mm +++).

The question is how to rewrite the Bosch ME 7.5.10 for using with ITBs. Or just simply use MS.

Well, I have some fresh news.

Bought 2 pairs of OMP Road 3M belts. Like new.

Also bought couple of Sparco R100 seats. NEW! In Sparco polyethylene packets! Here is one of them from original seller's post.

And what do you think?

I have paid 300$ for all of them! 2 seats and 2 belt sets!)))

Still can't believe in that lucky situation!
