WRC
Ok, thinking to upgrade my GTIs exhaust... KAM exhaust seems very good, but pretty expensive, also, due to my shipping location. so, what inner and outer diameter does the stock and upgraded exhaust have? i have some pretty good manufacturers in my area.. Lupo CUP championship says up to 57x2mm..but it seems a too big..
Sausage
57mm sounds ideal to me. Depends on your power requirements /upgrade plans...
WRC
but this is the inner diameter? around 140 hp, (stock engine + chip), and exhaust. the car will run in the Lupo Championship...
Sausage
I think it should be ID but it often gets sold as OD just to confuse everyone. Roughly speaking, 50mm pipe is good for around 140 - 150bhp after that it starts to restrict a bit. So ideally that should be your starting point.
