Jsylupo
I was looking for some advice. Ive got a problem with the drivers door dropping, the check straps have been replaced and on inspection the pin in the bottom hinge is broken/loose. I managed to find the part number on here and got a replacement hinge from VW. The problem now is how to remove the doors. Can anyone tell me the exact tool/socket needed for taking the doors off and removing the hinge. It is the lower of the 2 that needs replacing. I had a look in B&Q but couldn't see anything suitable, so I may need to order something online... We have very limited shops here in Jersey, thanks in advance
Sausage
Have you tightened up the hinge pin bolts? Small 5mm (?) hex under small black cap on each hinge. That cured my very saggy drivers door.
