Dannyteee Posted February 2, 2016 Report Share Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) Hi all, recently bought Ross-Tech vagcom for my arosa to check the faults, I cleared the faults but only one came back so I'm guessing it need changing, not to sure what it is so came here for help. Address 01 : Engine labels : Redir fail controller : 030 906 032 AS component : ME7.5.10 coding : 00001 1 fault found 17852 - potentiometer for EGR (g212) : implausible signal I have no idea what a potentiometer for ERG is and I'm just baffled, whatever is it does it need changing?? cj1 Posted February 2, 2016 Report Share Posted February 2, 2016 Check all the connections going to your EGR Valve... And in VCDS/Vagcom you should be able to run some tests to see if the valve is able to move. I had a similar issue and although I can't remember the exact fault code I replaced the EGR valve and it's been fine ever since. About £15 from a breakers and half an hours work.
