Skezza Posted October 1, 2015 Report Share Posted October 1, 2015 Just for the record, all TDI's were CL and EW. They didn't do an 'E' model TDI. Only the 1.0, 1.4 and SDI could be had in E if I remember rightly. The Sport, GTI and TDI were all CL, EW as basic.You're going to struggle to get a low miler for £1200. If that's your budget, I'd go for a higher mileage and just make sure the turbos still solid. They can last forever if serviced right. Whereabouts is the turbo on one of these, and how is it best checked? I've only ever dealt with naturally aspirated cars before, and petrol ones at that!
