culshaw
I've been tempted into the MFD world and having a nice OEM sat nav would be lovely. However my pin1 has no GALA signal, I was wondering if you can splice from the clocks to get the speed signal. If not is there another way for us GALAless folk to get the OEM MFD fitted? culshaw
I may have found the solution but am also seeing conflicting advice. Here is where to get GALA signal for any future readers: http://koti.mbnet.fi/jylhami/trip/speedsignal.pdfThis diagram (http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/uploads/monthly_03_2015/post-795-0-33956000-1425638639.jpg) tells me that GALA is infact at pin 2, not pin 1. Which would make sense as I've also read "most Lupos have GALA" I also drive a sport and I have a feeling / reason in the back of my head that they all have it. patroddy
they do have GALA yes however you have to get an adapter loom that also includes a switch should you wish to put a tv in it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Plug-Play-Adapter-for-VW-MFD-and-Audi-Navi-Plus-0117-/281144603725?hash=item417586344d
