carrera-gt Posted August 14, 2015 Report Share Posted August 14, 2015 I did this in reverse with my car, removing an aftermarket boss and steering wheel to fit a normal one, The boss adaptor fits stright onto the spline there is no sleeve, it does look like the spline is pressed on as a collar but it's not. you should not need to remove it to fit that adapter. My adapter was a MOMO.The normal wheel has the spline machined into the aluminuim and its fits straight on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
.jamie. Posted August 14, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 14, 2015 Cheers for the reply, I bought a small spline boss so it wasn't a straight fit. Got the sleeve off and wheel fitted.
