LupoTdiGuy
Okay, so after a small incident and an engine rebuild needed in my previous daily a classic mini i decided to bring it off of the road to fix it and buy a daily car.I had liked lupo's for a while and loved the fact you could get good vw build quality for small money, initially i viewed several 1.0 lupos and thought this was what i was going to end up getting, however once i rung up about insurance costs it was only an extra £100 to insure a 1.4 tdi over a 1.0, and with tax only being £30 a year and not £130 i would save that added £100 there so it made no difference. So after looking at around 5 bad examples of tdi lupo's i brought this little beauty
LupoTdiGuy
1st job was to give it a good clean, paint under arch parts such as springs etc black again, also repaint the wheel nut dust covers in black as they had turned a horrible grey colour, repainted the callipers and drums and fitted an engine cover as it didn't come with one.front wheels went from this:to this :changed the centre caps cleaned the rear wheels and added vw dust caps all round painted dust covers black, before: after:changed out the old mats gave the engine bay a detail

Sausage
Nice, i wonder how you define a bad example?Mine would definitely qualify, but then it was spares repairs and £250 LOL I'll be going for the rally look most likely as it's part way there already. My plate is very close to yours btw, it might get washed twice a year if it's lucky...
