danoid
Transformed the back of our lupo to house our doggy for transport.Took the back seats out and out a wooden construction in.The MOT is coming up, does the seats need to go back in?The rear seatbelts are still connected so has me thinking l, if they must be able to click in to pass MOT? mk2
Phone your MOT place before you go and ask them.... I'd guess you wont need the seats in.

Vwlup0
I believe you can have no seats aslong as the seatbelt mountings are removed. That's what I've been told when I got my '89 breadvan mot'd
Silver!
http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_620.htmNo mention of them, just that all seats fitted must be secure...
mk2
Once you've been to the MOT place, let us know what they decided... An interesting question.
205xld
A seat must be present for the seatbelt to be testable, if there is a defect in the belt the MOT tester should advise you of this. He will most likely advise that the rear seats are removed.http://www.motinfo.gov.uk/htdocs/m4s05000201.htm Edited January 17, 2015 by 205xld
