  1. Does any one know a quick fix for my wiper problem, the ball joint at the bottom of the passenger wiper (that the bit under the scuttle) that connects to the actuating arm has come off. I can pop it back on however the ball joit which I think is steel looks a bit corroded, and the plastic cup it sits in which look fixed in the actuating arm will not stay clip on. My question is can the plastic cup be replace, or have I got to buy a new arm and is the ball joint worn - maybe a common problem in which case is this the part to replace. Thanks
  2. At £29 per replacement arm, let’s make them new for a tenner. Primer & satin black aerosol & wire wool, £10 from Wilko. Cheap! Flat wipers £5.70 PAIR from Amazon. (21”& 19” ) free delivery if you’re in no hurry. Bargain! 1. Open bonnet. Lever cap off nut using small flat blade screwdriver. 2. Unbolt nuts with 13mm ring spanner or small socket set. 3. Lift off arms from spindles. Do not twist as you’ll damage splines. 4. Rub down arms with wire wool. Spray grey primer lightly, 2 coats. Spray 2 light coats satin black. Always wait 15 mins between coats to allow to dry. Now leave for 24 hours to fully harden. 5. Replace wiper blades now if needed, then refit, reverse of removal. Use copper ease on nuts to stop rust too.
  3. Hi recently revived my dead lupo 1.4tdi and started to drive it, after a while the wipers and indicators stopped working wondered if anyone has a wiring diagram so I could look into it tonight?

    TT Aero wipers

Been thinking about getting aero wipers but i just cannot justify the ludicrous price for GTI arms. In my searches i've found that a lot of people are putting GTI wipers on their Corrado's.. They are also putting TT arms on their Corrado's. If GTI arms fit Corrado's.. and TT arms fit Corrado's.. then surely TT arms will fit Lupo's no? Or am i missing something?
  5. Hey everyone, I've searched everywhere internet, manual and still cant find the size of the volkswagen fox rear wiper blade . I know that vw themselves will know but i dont want to pay out a fortune for one. Does anyone know the size? Thanks
