    Lupo GTI 2004

    SOLD
  2. Wondering if anyone else has any experience with swapping out the original Lupo steering wheel with a golf one. Is it as simple as taking the current one off, and putting a golf one on? Or are there any hacks that need to be in place for this to be feasible? Any information will be helpful!!
  3. Selling a full set of Eibach Pro lowering springs for a Lupo Gti 4764777 These will lower the car by 30mm Only been on the car for around 4 months. Purchased for in June 2016 and fitted in December 2016 Looking for £100.00 for the full set. No silly offers! Could post at buyers cost, but prefer collection from Worcestershire.

    Lupo gti doors on lupo

Hi So I have a 2000 lupo and I was wondering if anyone has swapped the doors for lupo gti doors and if it is just a simple swap.
  6. Make: Silver Lupo Gti 1.6 (6 Sped Manual Gearbox) MOT: January 2018 Engine: 1.6Gti Location: Peterborough/Cambridgeshire Price: 1600 ovno So I am testing the waters for selling my Lupo Gti (6 Speed) with an honest all I know ad. I originally bought this not knowing much about the Lupo’s (Other than I wanted one) It was to be used as a second car that I could spend a bit of time working on and have some fun with, I paid 1800 for it in (I believe) May last year. I recently inherited a bit of money and have since bought a classic beetle that I tend to spend some money on which is why I am debating selling the Lupo. Below I will list the usual Good and Bad: Bad Points: Needs a new starter motor (makes classic noise sometimes on start) I can have this fixed if I do sell Door straps aren’t great, Could do with replacing as doors do not stay open. Bit of rust where one of the previous owner rolled the arches, this is just on the actual rolled bit so isn’t that bad There was previously a bit of a Gearbox Leak and is a bit stiff going into 2nd Gear – I had my mechanic seal the leak which seems to of sorted this and with some new Gearbox oil 2nd gear is a lot better, I drive the car back and forth to work sometimes and its causes me no drama. There are bits of rust around the car in the usual Lupo places bottom of the doors etc. – nothing major though I reversed off my drive and scraped a little bit of the rear arch on my friends van – its scraped and dented the side a little bit but this is fresh so there is no rust and it’s not really bad. I’ve probably made it sound a lot worse than what it actually is, but one thing I hate Is buying a car and then having horrible surprises so I would rather be honest as I do believe in Karma. Good Points: Just had a new MOT (15/01/2017) Had a full service (15/01/2017) Cambelt and HT Leads replaced 4 Good Tyres A book with LOTS of receipts and history (Even managed to find a couple of the old owners on Facebook who had great things to say about the car) New front brake discs and pads New wiper blades Completely Standard (Expect the wheels have been sprayed black at some point) Interior is all in great condition for the age No excessive smoke or smells from exhaust Pulls in every gear and drives well (really is faster than I expected) I managed to get the rear spoiler brake to work J The car has done 157k this worried me at first and I did initially want to change it but after I had a mechanic look around he advised me that the engine seems fine and he thinks it would be a waste to change now as it runs ok, the engine bay all looks clean and no sign of leakage. I am open to offers but please nothing silly, I understand it’s not in show condition but you have to really see it in person it’s not a dog by any means but just needs a bit of TLC. If I can’t get a decent enough sale I will just keep it and tidy it up myself over time. I have been looking on eBay for a while and I yet to see many sell for less than £3000 especially for a 6 speed. I am currently at work below is the only picture I have on my phone – but I will certainly post some more so you get a better picture. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

  9. Hi fellow lupo owners, If you can get past my introduction then I have a question, after lowering my gti on jom coilovers it seems to just be wandering at speed and not self centering correctly, I know this is normally a caster issue, can this be put right or do I need new bushings to correct for this? Or would a shed load of negative camber cause the same issue? Thanks
  10. Hi... hey... boo what ever intro floats ur boat Recently took my gti for alignment on a hunter system after fitting coilovers because I was experienceing light, twitchy steering and it would wonder at motorway speeds and not self center. Long story short the alignment has been done now running -1.4 degrees camber and +2.4 degrees caster with 0 toe but I'm still experiencing the same problem almost like the cars floating, could it been the power steering? Any help is appreciated

    Suspension Bushes!

Hey guys, I have a 2003 Lupo Gti and am looking to upgrade the suspension bushes to Powerflex ones. http://www.powerflexshop.com/car/volkswagen/lupo-1999-2006/powerflex-bushes-for-road-use-volkswagen-lupo-1999-2006?options=cart From here I am unsure what sizes to order for the Front Anti-roll bar bushes 18mm, 20mm or 22mm? and Front Anti-roll bar eye bushes 18mm or 20mm? Thank you!
  12. I was wondering would it be possible to swap 5th out of a diesel gear box such as a 1.7 sdi gear box and install the 5th gear into my 5 speed lupo gti gearbox so I can have a longer 5th gear? I haven't seen anyone else post about it so I'm wondering if it is possible to swap or is there another way around it??? Would be great if someone could get bavk with a answer, cheers.
  13. Its going to hurt doing this but its time for a change, so my lupo has to go. The car is in very good condition with a full respray finished in march 2009. I will be selling the car fully loaded with all the interior and soundsystem. It hs been to many of the vw shows and has been inside at Ultimate Dubs representing clublupo for the last 2 years, and it won a trophy at Santa Pod a couple of months ago, featured in PVW, and a couple of pictures in Max Power and Fast Car. Its an absolute head turner and gets looks wherrever it goes, Ive had times where Ive come back from shopping and had people taking pictures of it and have been pulled by police just so they can have a closer look! Ive put alot of time, effort and money into this...enough of me banging on, to the nitty gritty.... The stats: 2004 Lupo Gti 81k May increase with use. FSH 6 Speed She will come with a years MOT and 5 months tax. List of mods: Smooth Front Bumper Mk4 Recaro Front seats Full Leather Retrim in red, black diamond stitching 15x8 Schmidt Modernlines re-sprayed in (Seat Leon Yellow) Scorpion Backbox PhilJ Coilovers Custom Boot build (pictured) Rear Tinted Windows G60 upgraded brakes Momo Team280 wheel BMC CDA air filter De wipered rear window Soundsystem (12" JBL sub, 2 JBL amps, Pioneer double din HU Kenwwod front components and tweeters) I also have a set of Standard Lupo wheels not in the greatest of condition and the standard headunit which will also be with given with sale. Im looking for £6000 make me an offer need this gone to fund my new car open to sensible offers.
