  1. Hi Guys, bit of an unfamiliar topic but I'm hoping someone can help. I've got it in my head that i want to put the biggest tyres i can on my sport alloys. current size is 185/55 r14 80h she's completely standard height 2000 1.7SDi. Has anyone done this before? I know it'll probably throw the speedo out a bit but i'm not too worried. my main concern is scrubbing the arches and smashing into things at full lock.

Will these fit on a Lupo? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191257823195?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Cheers
  4. Hi, Just bought a Lupo GTi (2001) and trying to get it sorted. I had to get a new spoiler brake light and bought it direct from VW. It arrived and doesn't fit. I've heard somewhere about modifying to make it fit. Is this common?Do I modify the spoiler or the light?Does anyone have any pictures or tutorial? Thanks in advance Ben
  5. What's the best way you guys think of connecting metal pressed plates to a lupo Isit easier to just drill new holes then put the original screws back through ??
  6. I have just purchased my first lupo, but the stereo (single din) doesn't work and the cup holders are broken, as well as the air vents. I have therefore come to the conclusion that a nice shiny touch screen double din unit would be lovely instead. Browsing the interweb I have found a great unit for a reasonable price that has come off a Lupo GTI.It includes the whole middle section of the dahboard (including the air vents) and has the high up hazard button. Unfortunately as my Lupo is 1999 T reg it has the different styled early dash with the hazard button down the bottom. Would this later dash still fit my Lupo, if I rewired in a later hazard button to the triangle or plugged it somehow? cheers Jordan
  7. Pretty much as title says, I've had a big search of the forum and google trying to find out if GTI wing mirrors will fit a Sport (as in straight swap) to no avail, probably not finding the answer for looking too hard! I've had previously electric mirrors but they have been removed by the previous owner for awful DTM ones. So if someone can help me out that will be great! Cheers, Chris.
  8. well when I get my lupo, the first thing Im gonna change will be the wheels, so opinions people, Im thinking either the Lenso BSX in either white with polished lip or black with polished lip, or Rota RB's in black with polished lip or silver with polished lip. If I go for the Rota's I can get wider rears (7J front, 8J rear) and should I get the same offset (ET30 on both) or more offset rears (ET30 on front, ET35 on rear? thanks for readingg Dan
