  1. Hi everyone! My partner's lupo's indicator has been having some problems...intermittent to say the least. A new hazard button (with the indicator relay) is due tomorrow. Any ideas or advice before i start? Havent worked on her lupo yet except changing bulbs, does it pop out or dashboard off jobbie?
  2. Has anyone swapped a MK1 Arosa dash for a MK2? Is it a straight swap? Wiring all the same? bolts all line up? heater controls and such the same? If anyone has done it please let me know Cheers James
  3. Hello, I'm looking to give my dashboard a small upgrade, so far i have started with replacing the radio that was stock with a Sony one. I'm looking to change my gear stick knob also and would like any links to some that yous think are good looking and comfy and if someone one could explain the process in replacing one that would be great also I'm also on the looking for the dials that control the heating and AC, if yous have any links to metal or chrome ones that would be great! And finally if yous have any suggestions on what I should do to the dashboard or interior please let me know Thank you David
  4. Can the older style dash be 'converted' into the newer style? All that looks different is the section below the stereo and the hazard warning lights.. Can you just reroute the hazard warning light and heated window switches and change over to the cup holders? Also... are all the dashboards the same as in fitting them? Could I take a dashboard from a newer model (SDI, TDI, 1L) car and fit it into an older style sport?

  6. Hi, i want to spray my interior plastics of my Lupo 1.0, its Red so if you have any ideas or tips on what colors, i would really appreciate it, also i need someone to tell me how i can actually do it? how to take the plastics off, which parts of the dash i should spray, how many coats, what types of paint etc. Thannks
  7. I have just purchased my first lupo, but the stereo (single din) doesn't work and the cup holders are broken, as well as the air vents. I have therefore come to the conclusion that a nice shiny touch screen double din unit would be lovely instead. Browsing the interweb I have found a great unit for a reasonable price that has come off a Lupo GTI.It includes the whole middle section of the dahboard (including the air vents) and has the high up hazard button. Unfortunately as my Lupo is 1999 T reg it has the different styled early dash with the hazard button down the bottom. Would this later dash still fit my Lupo, if I rewired in a later hazard button to the triangle or plugged it somehow? cheers Jordan
