  2. I have owned my little Arosa since 2003 and sadly time has come to pass on ownership. I have changed jobs and moved to live near where I work - I don't need a third car anymore. Will be sad to see it go. This car brought me to membership here back in the day. Make: Seat Model: Arosa MOT: 25 February 2018 (https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/) TAX: Buyer responsible Engine size: 998cc Fuel type: Petrol Description including modifications: 3rd owner from new. Commuter car, so low mileage which can be verified from the above MOT history link. Service pack, 2 keys, and lots of receipts held. Had a lot of extras from new - believe it was a demo model, central locking, ABS, Air con, adjustable steering wheel, 5 speed, genuine Seat floor mats and aftermarket overmats. Car has been maintained to high specs. Last major work Aug 2015 when camshaft was replaced (worn on one rocker), and a full timing belt/water pump change carried out. Approx mileage was 85k when this was done. Had a comprehensive service undertaken including spark plugs and leads. Discs and pads are still good for many miles (had Brembo items fitted many years ago and have hardly worn them). Very good tyres all around - rears look barely used. New middle and rear exhaust (Jan 2017). The car is in good condition for it's age, has marks and dings you would expect for a London car that occasionally receives unwarranted attention from yobs in passing. Interior is reasonable but can be cleaned up - the drivers seat bolster is showing some slight wear, and the interior has a few marks and scratches. There is slight bubbling on the rear wheel arch and a scratch on the other following an encounter with an exposed cable. Have done some motorway miles recently and car handles really well on the motorway at the legal speed limit. Location: Potters Bar / Croydon - car is registered in PB where I used to live, and as I have moved can also be seen where I now live if easier to get to. Images: See and judge for yourself Price: £*** ovno (may include some extras). Call beeftex (Rifa-Cat) on 07934 464 058 or send me a text message.
  3. Well, that's what I'm aiming for, anyway. Going into this rather blind, so would appreciate all the help, guidance and community that I know ClubLupo offers! Have browsed for months and now making myself known. Hello! Here's my plan: https://www.autocar.co.uk/opinion/new-cars/can-you-buy-good-car-£300
  4. Got myself a black VW Lupo 1.0L in black as a first car and looking for some cheap mods as I am on a budget but want the car to look and possibly perform better?
  5. Hi guys, I'm new to this and want some ideas and help. I've got a 1998 1.0 Seat Arosa, in red. Just wanted a few tips on what I can do to it for a small cost but also other ideas for when I get paid and save up a bit. Thanks. Also can someone help me out with posting pictures I can't figure it out.
  6. Found this on Copart; imagine afew poeple could be interested. http://www.copart.co.uk/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e1s1&lotId=14393233&returnPage=SEARCH_RESULTS
  7. I'm looking at lowering my loop but don't wanna spend loads on doing it as am on a tight budget. I've found some springs on eBay for around 80 quid n was wondering what the pros n cons were of using springs to lower n if anyone could tell me how to do it myself :-) Cheers guys.
  8. Just wondering what 'cheap little things' people do and stick in on and around their rides to make them their own - by cheap little things i mean the likes of air fresheners, tax disc holders, stickers, little DIY mods and whatnot. Not tacky crap! In addition to what you've done, it would be nice to know some online stores/places to acquire these miniature priced delights. Ill start things off with a little list of stuff i have found on the interwebs that i desire greatly: http://www.touge.co....ssories-9-c.asp - I personally have the grenade and turbozilla air fresheners, would recommend turbozilla http://www.itsproper...or-accessories/ http://knockingshop..../air-fresheners http://southrnfresh....outhrnfreshener https://www.dubkorps...rt/store/decals http://www.magoo-design.co.uk http://fatlace.3dcar...m/Car_c_85.html http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_4014wt_1166 - (If the link dies it is grison black leather and vinyl dye) I used this to refurb my wing mirrors and lower bumper sections since they were just black plastic, took a few coats but worked a treat, now these parts look new. Would highly recommend. "What have you done to your arosa" i hear you ask? well clublupo, im a student and can barely afford to run my car as it is which is why i made a post about cheap little things, note the words 'cheap' and 'little'. Back to the point, i've de-badged my boot, removed bump strips, got a de-badged front grill, a couple of air fresheners, some cheap car mats, cleaned the carpets (not very well hence the mats), re-blacked exterior black plastics and fitted a boot build (on the cheap). What have you done?..
  9. Up for sale is my Lupo sport project because I have far too many projects, and just don't have the time to finish it! Everything is there to complete it. The engine is in position on the mounts but not fully wired up. I have attached the driveshafts and gear linkage but you will need to fit the exhaust manifold/intake/throttle body/fuel rail etc. and all wiring (all there in the engine bay, just needs connecting). It is a 1.4 16v Lupo Sport with 91000 miles. The car is still MOT'd but not sure how long. It has electric windows but the drivers side has come off runner, easy fix. The door check straps also creak when opening the doors but this is a very common problem and an easy fix can be found on the forum! Everything else is in good working order; brakes and handbrake, power steering etc. etc. Modifications include a wide-arch body kit (this seems to look more extreme in photo's than it does in real life), debadged grill with welded up bonnet, tinted windows, side exit exhaust, depo indicators, stripped out rear, corbeau bucket seats with momo harnesses, and a full respray in black with a purple tint - someone spent some serious money on this car at some stage! Please note: the coilovers and alloy wheels have been removed and sold, it is currently on standard suspension and steel wheels. The body kit needs some work in places, it has cracked at the rear arch, and started coming away on one of the front wings, so has been bonded back on. This could be an easy project for someone, and being a 2004 car I believe it is good value. The buckets/subframes/harnesses are worth a bit on their own, engine would be worth £300, and like I said everything is there to finish it off, I just don't have time to turn it into the 'show car' it was planned to be. Location: Corsham, nr. Bath Contact: Please feel free to PM, or text/call 07837 892836 This is a project, and I am very much open to offers for a quick sale because I need the storage space!!
