  1. Hi all, I’ve recently purchase some lowering springs for a Lupo for my Seat Arosa. Two of the springs are quite large and two of them are much thinner with tighter coils. Would someone be able to tell me which ones go on the front and which way up they should go? I am under the understanding that the larger ones go at the front? It just seems to me like the small ones are much too small. I’ve attached a picture.
  2. Standard Lupo Suspension Springs OPEN TO SENSIBLE OFFERS Can be sold desperately or as a set, Nothing wrong with them, just don’t need them as my Lupo is on lowering springs. Will post! comment/message me if interested
  3. Thinking about breaking my 1.0 VW Lupo as it hasn't been driven in over a year now as i have a new car and a van. The body is work is really rough and i should of used a different shell to modify as it has dents all over and was my 1st car but if someone is interested in the Suspension which is Air Lift Performance digital V2 Setup with 5gallon tank, Viair compressor, Digital controller and 4 Air Complete Air Bags. I'd be willing to sell the kit for £1000 its still on the car currently only used for a year of driving (9000 miles) so can send videos of it all working serious buyers only before i remove it deposit to be paid. if someone would like to purchase the car as a whole id sell it for £1750 has Sparco R100 bucket seats and rails, Pressed plates and 7x13 bullet steels on the front and 8x13 on the rear (Need Refurb) Fronts need 2 new tyres can give set of original steelies with good as new tyres too. Approximately 110,000 miles 1.0 E Car is Currently SORN

  5. Hi ClubLupo Forum Members Hoping someone out there can help, my daughter has just bought a tidy 1.0 lupo as her first car, but its got a set of coil overs on, and the insurance are being awkward about it. Does anyone out there have a set of old standard springs, and/ or shocks up for sale for us to swap over too ?? Many Thanks, and apologies if this is in the wrong area. Paul Missing my old G40, but old enough to have a GTE :o)
  6. Selling a full set of Eibach Pro lowering springs for a Lupo Gti 4764777 These will lower the car by 30mm Only been on the car for around 4 months. Purchased for in June 2016 and fitted in December 2016 Looking for £100.00 for the full set. No silly offers! Could post at buyers cost, but prefer collection from Worcestershire.
  7. I have an early model arosa I want to buy lowering springs , the site I want to buy them off fk-shop.de have them for a lupo but doesn't say what model before or after face lift. I'm just wondering does that matter, do all models of Arosa/Lupos share suspension ? Also is that a reputable site to buy off or any suggestions for somewhere else would be much appreciated Thanks Alex
  8. I had some 40mm springs fitted by a friend today and now when I'm driving I hear a lot of moving around it seems, and when I turn my wheel I hear movement. Also wheels look almost as if they're cambered. Picture doesn't do justice. Is this just because of the new springs needing to bed in or is there more too it? Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance.
  9. bought from : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003084RUS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Thanks
  10. I picked up a 1.4 lupo the other day and want to sit it on 60mm lowering springs all round, will it be an mot failure?! Cheers

  12. I've got for sale front shock from eurocarparts which have covered about 1000 miles, rear shocks are original from Lupo but a bit tattie looking, comes with fk lowering springs, about 1000 miles done as well, springs lower car about 55mm front & 40mm rear £50 located in Darvel, Ayrshire near Kilmarnock
  13. Hi guys, Brought some coilies for my Lupo and just concerned about the order of the top mount parts. The coilovers come with top mounts and ive heard everywhere not to use them, i need to use my stock top mounts. Ive tried finding a picture everywhere of the order and cant see anything. Cheers, Zap
  14. Any one know where to get OEM shocks + lowering springs ? looking for 30mm drop to replace leaky coil overs
  15. Hey guys, anyone can post a picture with their Lupo or Arosa, lowered on AP springs? Thanks!
  16. Morning all! I recently bought myself this lovely little loop, so this is my first post on here, and just wanted some advice on the first steps to take to improve the old girl! Well, here she is: Basically any advice on what modifications would look good? any and all opinions welcome! oh and what lowering springs would you lot recommend? as i cant afford coilovers for a long time and those arch gaps are awful!
  17. I've come across some coilovers for my lupo that are dirt cheap. The only thing is that the rear shocks aren't there and it is only the springs. I am not convinced this is how they came out of the factory, although the guy assures me it is, and that my standard rear shocks would not be up to the job with springs that lower the car 80/90mm. What are your opinions guys?!
  18. Hello everyone, Has anybody got any pictures of a lupo sitting on 60mm springs? And which ones are best to get? I've decided I don't want to go too low, but I really want to see what a 60mm drop looks like. Thanks in advance. TD.
  19. has anyone got any pictures with theirs lowered 40mm, preferably with 15" wheels, just getting an idea of what it would look like because I want to lower mine, but keep the stock dampers, also would 60mm be to much with my stock dampers? thanks
  20. I'm looking at lowering my loop but don't wanna spend loads on doing it as am on a tight budget. I've found some springs on eBay for around 80 quid n was wondering what the pros n cons were of using springs to lower n if anyone could tell me how to do it myself :-) Cheers guys.
  21. Just been quoted by my insurance company (Admiral) that they would want £128 extra? if i was to change the suspension in my car and they said they would allow me to change the wheels for no extra fee if i was to do this. So i am thinking of putting some 50inch truck wheels on and raising the suspension 1500mm! Well really they said i can do anything up to 50mm (5cm there words) So that in mind, also bearing in mind im on a tight ass student budget! What are the pro's and Cons of Buying a set of springs £64 for my TDI 1.4 lupo or buying (i think its the cheapest) JOM Blueline Coilovers at £189. Is the handling, braking, accelerating, comfort, reliability or anything better by having the whole coilover kit as appose to just the springs? bearing in mind my lupos suspension is nearly 11 years old! One last question oooober question. If i was to go out and get some new wheels for my Lupo at some point, would it be best to do this before putting on the new coilovers (as they are adjustable) that way i would no if the wheels fit or not? or would i be able to just crank the suspension height right up put the wheels on, and then lower the car back down to a specific height, as obviously wheels change the ride height, (is adjusting it a simple job?) (Spring clamps are about £10) So the difference is really £64 + £10 + £128 = £202 £189 + £10 + £128 = £327 Thanks people.
  22. Hi, I have a 2004 Seat Arosa S 1.0 which is in desperate need of mods. I want to start with lowering it so if anyone has any 40mm springs or could tell me where to go to get some that aren't too expensive, please let me know! Thanks
