  1. yeah only the front two wheels actually had the spacers on them, the rear two had slightly wider wheels, so i guess they didnt need the spacers. thanks again ill get onto it tonight.
  2. thanks for that information silver, im sure the spigot does have the size on it, i will look later tonight and then try and find one on the net,
  3. hi guys, since owning the lupo around 2 months now ive had an issue with a bit of wheel vibration, so i thought it was the balancing went down this weekend to have it sorted turns out it looks like a bit more than that, they took the front wheels off to find a set of spacers, ok nothing wrong with that i hear u ask, its currently running keskin kt5's 7j at the front, now we took of the spacers and they went to balance the wheels when they came back we noticed something rather strange with the disc somewhere along the line the previous owner/owners had used gaffa tape and wrapped it around the section of the hub that sticks out that the wheel slides onto (cant remember its tech name sos all but you know what i mean) well we wondered why this was there, so we stripped it off only to then realise that when we put the wheel back on there was a heck of a lot of play with the spacer, turns out the spigot ring(i think thats what its called) that comes with the spacer is the wrong size for the vw hub, so they padded the hub out with gaffa tape and put the spacer on and drove it like that, imagine my surprise, the garage didnt have any that would fit the diamater and wasnt sure what the diamater was. so do you guys know the diamater of the lupo and also where i might be able to get a sprigot ring? that will go from the original spacer size onto the vw hub? luckily enought my cousin had some g60s lying around so im driving them right now ( really like them actually like them more than the alloys), if pics are needed of what im talking about spacer wise i can get them on tonight if you want. thanks Dan
  4. after reading this ive noticed a small amount of bubbling on the roof of my car as well, should i just phone vw up and explain this will they understand or is there something in particular i should say to them the car is a 99 so it should be covered under the 12 year warranty?
  5. yeah the colour was what first attracted me to it, i just love it, stands out and gets some looks even though people do call it slimer, but i kinda like that nick name so ive run with it, im not sure about the keskin kt5 center caps colour coded though i think i might look for a set of normal grey/silver ones and replace them as they currently have the VW type on there
  6. dreamweaver is a great tool for learning to code html etc, but sometimes it overblots pages especially with javascript, hence not using it in daily work, but its great to learn with, for websites i would recommend looking at stuff like tizag tutorials or w3 schools as these are great sites for tutorials and learning the basics, css stuff well if your looking for inspiration then check out css zen garden they have some nice stuff on there, or do a search for css templates on google, another few places that i tend to look at when needing answers for things are either sitepoints website or web design forum, both got some very knowledgable people there and always willing to help out. and i agree with scottgroovez, tutorials only help to a point its putting this into practice and having a go yourself is where you learn more, draw some ideas out on paper and create them with html start easy and them work into more difficult things. and if you ever need a hand or got a q to ask dont hesitate to drop me a pm, and ill help out in anyway poss, Dan
  7. its a 1.4 16v s. and the indicators have been moved to the lower front bumper. not really a big fan off them in that place tbh and its the first thing on the list of changes..

  10. Hi All just a quick question ive found a pair of the front indicator lenses that sit below the main headlights, and im looking to buy them now ive been quoted 60 including delivery may i just ask is this a good price or not? i cant seem to find anything on the internet regarding price or perhaps im just searching for the wrong thing? can anybody help me does anyone have a part number for them so i can get my mate to ring up VW and ask them how much they would charge him (gets a discount on things through work), also does anyone have the part number for the cambridge lights ? or even better does anyone have a set of the indicator lenses for sale on here or are thinking of selling them then let me know. thanks Dan
