  1. You need bigger injectors. It is pointless to run 1.5bar and not to have the fuel to compensate, my car has 130hp and I only need 1.3-1.4bar of boost because I'm running PD130 injectors.

Ok, I checked Etka to be sure on the differences between PD130 and PD150 Camshaft - 038 109 101 R - The same part number on both The block and piston set- 038 103 101 AB (AH after 2003) - The same part number on both Conrod - 038 198 401B - The same part number on both Crankshaft - 038 105 021 K - The same part number on both Oil pump - 038 115 105D - The same part number on both Injectors - 038 130 073 AL or 038 130 079 BX - The same part number on both So neither of them is stronger, the engines are the same.
  5. Are you sure? I'm asking you because all the 100,115,130,150 PD engines use the same head, camshaft and valves. PD130/150 use the same block and pistons, rods, crankshaft, oil pump, injectors... practically the same engine minus the turbo and intercooler.
  6. A VNT15 turbo works with no problems at 22psi/1.5bar, you can push it to 24psi/1.65bar but you have to watch your EGT's then.
  7. A CAI on a TDI it is poitless, absolutely no gains of power. On a TDI when the entire filter is removed there are no improvements in power, verified on a dyno. The 1.4tdi air filter is good for 200hp+.
  8. The 1.4tdi (amf) 75hp is 1.9tdi 100hp without a cilinder, do not confuse it with the Audi A2 1.4tdi (ATL) 90hp engine which is based on the PD130 engine. The P130 has stronger rods and pistons compared to the PD100. So if you want 170hp from a 1.4tdi you should go with the Pd130 internals. The stock 1.4tdi 75hp engine can't sustain more then 140hp, from what I Know.
  9. I'm not sure I understand you correctly. A VNT17 turbo on a stock PD130 is running 1.35bar/19.5psi of boost and puts out 130hp. For a 1.4tdi to put out 130hp it needs 1.55-1.6bar/23psi from that vnt17.And so it will be a big difference in EGT temperatures between them. So I'm not sure that your argument is correct. I'm running the stock intercooler for now, but I have to change it untill the summer comes. Even know in winter time, if I run my car for 20min hard, the oil temp starts to climb.
  10. With about 10-25%( I don't know how to calculate in mpg), it depends how you drive it.
  11. Yes, I did the conversion. The turbo was 450E new, the tubo manifold was 50E second hand + 30E because I had to go to a workshop to cut one runner and weld a plat. I had to make a custom downpipe because the vnt17 has a different position, plus the flange of the exhaust has 3 screw. The injectors cost 100E/unit second hand on ebay or new 400$ at Kerma. There were same other bits like n75 valve, vacuum lines... that I had lying around, so I don't know the price of them.
  12. Hello, I have a 1.4tdi with pd130 injectors and vnt17 turbo and it works great. The turbo spools way better than the stock one and it pulls very hard till 4500rpm. I don't know the power yet, but it accelerates to 62 in under 8s.
