  1. Does any one know a quick fix for my wiper problem, the ball joint at the bottom of the passenger wiper (that the bit under the scuttle) that connects to the actuating arm has come off. I can pop it back on however the ball joit which I think is steel looks a bit corroded, and the plastic cup it sits in which look fixed in the actuating arm will not stay clip on. My question is can the plastic cup be replace, or have I got to buy a new arm and is the ball joint worn - maybe a common problem in which case is this the part to replace. Thanks
  2. No not just you - daughter came come tonight (9pm) and announced her passenger window is stuck half up, I took the lower door card off and the rearmost cable (lock end of the door) has frayed, I couldn't get the window up so I have cut both cables and jammed it up with a piece of wood. To dark to do much else, anyone know how to get the window assembly out of the door? nb, it a manual winder on this one
  3. I had a look - difficult to see, you need to be a lot more flexible than I am. It looks ok.
  4. Good thread on pedal boxes- It could be the reason, I will have a look tomorrow ( later today - didn't realise the time) Cheers

  8. I'll give it a go - thanks
  9. A fairly dumb question here, I want to get the rear drums off to check the shoes, after removing the wheel and letting the handbrake off, I have remove the single cross head screw, I assume the drum should now come off the hub. It won't even with a fair amount of bashing. Any one has similar ? Does the hub come of fairly easily ? I could take them both off. Advice please.
  10. I am new to this wide wheel, narrower tyre style, what wheel and tyre size combination are on the yellow motor above ?
  11. I guess the only way to find out is to buy one and fit it - I will keep you posted it will be the next job after the split charger and 2nd battery in the D3 - if I remember with some pic as well.
