  1. I think they look cool, there was a red one at this years VW Jamboree in Cornwall. Seeing one in the flesh made me want to do it even more.
  2. That it can but i cant take more than 3 people as it is whithout scrubbing the rear wheels. and i cant be bothered to roll the arches yet Thanks Amber, our cars are like brother and sister
  3. just fitted my spoiler today, didnt go too bad ive taken the badges off the back too since I last posted pictures. lots more things to come yet but my gearbox going bust kinda scuppered any plans for mods
  4. i had 120 out of my standard (non sport) Loop but since then the gearbox blew up and when they took it apart they found out it was a sport box, and then gave me a normal box as a replacement so now it doesnt go as well gits. it now sits at 3500 rpm at 70 instead of 3000 rpm with the old sport box aswell. Sorry this has nothing to do with bhp does it lol
  5. i got a powerflow on my 1.4s, the garage just cut a very small half moon at the bottom of the bumper. you can easy do it yourself. have you got a dremmel? will get pics on later to show you. very easy to do but ive lost the will to live with working on cars and prefer to pay people to do it these days
  6. im with you there, my brakes are ****e. like wooden mk2 polo brakes. if anyone does know id love to know too
  7. i was stuck between 15's and 17's on mine, went for 15's with 195/45's and am very happy with them
  8. yeah but luckily im manly (I hope!) enough to pull it off lol. i used to have really long dreads, good job i hanvt now otherwise i could of been in trouble lol i wouldnt of gone for yellow personally but my Dad had it kicking around and let me have it cheap. i was selling my T4 van at the time and wanted a mk4 golf or bora but in the end couldnt turn down the loop as it left me with money in my pocket. im so glad i went for it tho, ive had 6 dubs so far and this by far my fav, its just so much fun to drive
  9. 1999 1.4 s currently wearing 15" shoes spaced by 10mm and some coilovers just the lowly 75 horses at present or 55 german ponys not planning to do much if any work inside the engine, however it will be treated to a complete exhaust system and induction kit. she will be smoothed with colour coded bumpers, ive got the GTI spoiler for it but havnt got round to fitting it yet. I want to change the seats, i put a set of GT TDI recaros in my T4 van and they were lush so will be looking into the possibilty in the future. its got to have black VW badges me thinks with the i.4 and Lupoi writting gone aswell as the gti grille if i can get it to fit ok. going for Spots in the front and arosa rear lights as i think they will look smart next to the colour. any more ideas as and when i get them I know its not ground breaking but i just want it to look nice and oh my god i love the coilovers, its like a frigin go kart, point and squirt My van was seriously low and it handled bloody well but the loop is awsome! heres a few pics, i will try and get some better ones cos these suck in all fairness lol, the last one is with the coilovers but again not a great pic ideas and suggestions always welsome
  10. its ok, ive stopped being an anus and realised. the readers rides thread is well good
  11. cool ,will do....how do i do that? :/ sorry lol
