I figured it out a while back ; ) Just grease you bootlid hinges and rubber stops at the bottom this will stop the noise, if your like me I tightend everything up to try and find it, losen your rear shocks of slightly. problem solved

All fitted properly now guys, I'll get some photo's later or tommorow I had to cut a slight piece out and re weld a piece in looks gd.

Ive got a picture of it fitted before modifying it, notice the resivour on the left. I like it, does it look out of place?

Yeah I think your right. Ive fitted it, Im going to cut and fabricate something to get around the resivour im not happy with it.

My front strut brace arrived this morning, very happy with it as it looks great. Started to fit it this afternoon and OMG it is a load of crap... I finaly fitted it after about 1 1/2 hours of fiddeling around, Im slightly worried though the left base plate of the strut has pushed the brake servo resivoir ( plastic bottle thing ) over about 1/2 inch should I be worried. Please help kinda worried lol

I think your right dude, I can not find any information saying that they wont fit. I believe the gti disc is 5mm thicker, I might give it ago see wht happens.
