Forgot to add occasionally there's a tiny little bit of smoke from behind the steering wheel and an electrical burny smell so I guess that would point to the indicator stalk then, do I just need to get that changed for a new one then? And do I take it to vw? Coz its probably going there to get the pedal box done soon anyway?

Yeah well those were my original thoughts but indicators are all ok, its just the noise- the problem being that its clicking double speed all the time when no indicators are on, and when im indicating it clicks at normal speed. Maybe a relay/ fuse problem?

Hi, I think I've got am electrical problem, sounds like the indicators are on at double speed all the time, and the sound is coming from the dash behind the hazard button, and its not a bulb gone or anything. Anyone know what this could be? Hoping its a cheap fix cos I just melted my clutch after the pedal box went so it lupo fixin' time! Cheers!
