I cant remember to much about it other than it looked tidy. Haven't seen many nice looking lupo's around here recently... I was in my beetle (aircooled) heading towards prince of wales - you said something but I couldn't catch it..

I've got one of those rclick kits, works a treat. Plus its always handy that the sunroof shuts as i'm a complete nonse and always forget to do it myself!

I'm 100% sure it isn't the switch. When i keep the key turned in the door, the sunroof and passengers window open

Any advise anyone?

Need a bit of advice. My window motor has given up the ghost - leading it to being very embarassing having to open the drivers door to get the ticket for a multi storey. Are the motors the same as any other VAGs? Reason I ask is the stealers want £150 just for the part and the local scrapy doesn't have any lupo/arosas in

155,000 miles and still going strong! The engines last forever if looked after. I don't think the TDi's have any common faults, but I'm sure if there are someone'll tell you

Same thing happend to me with the bonnet release the other day. The handle broke away from the pivot/bracket. Is the handle still connected to the cable? If it is you can open the bonnet but it means faffing about trying to get the handle back in the pivot to turn it.

Sorry to hear that! Glad your OK though. On the bright side of things...at least you get to look for another shiney car to play around with :-)

Could be a good thing to keep it on here though. For those that want something a little different and aren't worried about getting people in the back.

Welcome to the madhouse! As for the lights - the back cluster can be sprayed on the insides (i think, but if not someone will point at me and laugh) and the fronts can be taken out, heated in the oven to be seperated and sprayed, there's a post on here somewhere but I cant find it. And I think that the bumper is a big job, as it needs new arches etc. But once again, I may be wrong. There's plenty of threads about that too. What else do you have planned? or is it a big secret?

Could be the imobiliser - but when I picked up a key with no chip for the imobiliser and tried it, it fired up and died after a few seconds. SO doubtful the imobiliser IMO

This gets asked at least once a week!!! "Search" is a useful feature...

I think that's why nobody mentioned that lol
