ive spent the past two days on the phone to every scrap yard, parts place that i can think of and when i ask them for a gearbox they jsut laugh at me lol where did u manage to find yours?

my gearbgox went on wednesday afternoon... *sigh i have a 1.7sdi and have lost 4th gear... but its only a matter of time before the rest go so have deicded not to drive the car. will a gearbox from a golf or polo... or even an arosa fit? how much should i be looking to spend on getting this fixed as im absolutely broke and cant live without my little lupoghini :'(

Hey guys, i have a 2000 lupo 1.7 sdi and ive lost 4th gear... its only a matter of time before i lose the rest so have decided not to drive the car as theres bits floatin around in my gearbox and its making one hell of a clunking noise... Now my question to you fine people is, will a gearbox from a polo or golf fit? Does anyone know of a lupo diesel gearbox? and how much am i looking at to get this repaired as i need this done for as little as possible... any help would be greatly appreciated

Well my clio did sell eventually and i am now the proud owner of a 2000 blue lupo sdi im in luuuuuuurve lol

yeah ive heard of that... is it that bad? ive bought a blue one so...

Ive just purchased my lupo and was wondering if the bump strips are botled on or if they could be pealed off? i used to have a polo adn iwth a heat gun and credit card they peeled straight off...

long shot i know but after selling my polo for my clio i really regret it and fancy a lupo.... if anyone is interested in a swap for a 1998 silver clio pleaseeeeeeee let me know... my clio is up for £1600 so wud be lookin for something around that price, maybe a bit more but not much thankss Sammy
