Dubliminal Caddy

right... i have a mk1 caddy 1.6 petrol 8 valve....so would it be easier to put the polo engine in instead then? the lupo one came with ecu and gearbox and wiring and that, just not clocks and keys ...so my mate says it wont work....also..would the polo gti engine be easier as it has cable clutch? does the polo AVY engine mount the same as the caddy? cheers joe

i have been told you can use the adaptorfrom the seat toledo to change your clutch from hydraulic clutch to cable...is this true with the 6 speed gti gearbox? cheers

hi has anyone got any technical drawings or pictures of the engine and gearbox mounts from the avy gti engine and 6speed box... i been looking everywhere and nowhere has any info:( please help as i am looking to pck one up at the weekend and i need to know how to mount it into my caddy:) cheers also... hydraulic clutch... can i convert it to cable clutch using the toledo adaptor? joe
