Hi all, Just noticed after 9 years my lupo has missing towing eye screw. Anyone know if this has to a specific part or can I just get a generic one?

did you find one? I know a guy in Dundee that did my Lupo and did and ace job. I've lost the number will find out if you still need to know.

29k miles, on a 53 plate.... Did a massive 5.5k last year, and 3.5k the year before!

Just got myself a drivers side stubby mirror, but I have no idea on how to fit it ! So anyone got some pointers on where to start.

Had this problem twice over the years, took in under VW dealers and told its a common fault. So they changed relay switch as sticking but did not reseal high tail light where the water was getting in. 1 year later same problem. Took it somewhere else and resealed the lot and cleaned the connection to relay. And been fine since. If it does it again, I'll going to unhook the wiring to the relay. Hope this helps.

Also trying to change bulb at the mo, had a quick look before I had a read here...but wondering what are the white platic bits at the side for?? Do you unscrew them 1st??

The up is more likely to be a mark 2 lupo imo, since the recent concept Iroc became the scIROCco, so up might mean lUPo.. All three cars lupo, fox, and up all have similar concepts ie small car for the masses. But they have failed imo, either to expensive, or not what people expected in build quality from VW. Maybe UP will be a bit of the lupo and fox and still be a cracking car. The up has been in r&d for a few years and VW are taking there time to hopefully release an exciting wee motor.

Tried Mothercare, but they were very unhelpful, tried a few that didn't fit then they lost interest. They "ran out of options".
